SpringBoard Incubators Inc. operates the SpringBoard eLearning platform at sbelearning.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information — your name and email address when you register.
  • Learning activity — lessons completed, quiz scores, badges earned, time spent on content. This is used to personalize your learning experience.
  • Payment information — billing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your card number on our servers.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, and device information collected automatically when you use the Platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and personalize your learning experience, including AI-generated feedback.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To send transactional emails (password resets, certificate notifications).
  • To improve the Platform and understand how learners engage with content.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. AI-Powered Features

The Platform uses Claude (by Anthropic) to generate lesson content and personalized quiz feedback. Your learning activity (quiz scores, lesson progress) may be sent to Anthropic's API to generate this feedback. No personally identifiable information such as your name or email is shared with Anthropic. Anthropic's usage policies apply to this data.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Stripe — for payment processing.
  • Amazon Web Services — for hosting and email delivery.
  • Anthropic — for AI-generated learning feedback (anonymized activity data only).
  • Your organization — if you access the Platform through an employer or workforce agency, your progress data may be visible to that organization's administrator.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and learning data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us. We will respond within 30 days. You may also cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

8. Cookies

We use a single authentication cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
